How did you spend your time on the WWW last week? Was it productive? What
does it mean to be productive?Last week on the WWW most of my time was spent on web 2.0 sites. I mostly used facebook and myspace to communicate with all of my friends. I also used the internet to check my email. I feel that my use of the WWW was productive. It allowed me to talk to my friends that I don't get to see now and also with my family. To be productive means to accomplish something worthwhile. I believe that my time was well spent on the WWW last week.
I also used the internet to do a lot of my homework last week. It was an extremely helpful tool when trying to document sources for an essay I wrote. It allowed me to post my blog for this class as well.

Yeah, I love the internet. It's great. I, too, used it for posting this blog. The butterfly net didn't work so I had to go for the inter one. You little myspace addict... =p

i never even knew facebook was web 2.0 until this class.
but i don't feel facebook & myspace is very productive. it actually prevents me from being productive and doing my homework.
I totally agree with you! it was very convenient to have access to all of this stuff.
In my post, I also mentioned keeping in touch with old friends. It's definitely nice to have the ability to contact them in such a fast and effortless way.
